Ryoji Ikeda's installation data.matrix [nº1-10] has been selected alongside 29 other works from the Collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo, for exhibition at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. This is a joint initiative between Thailand's Ministry of Culture and the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture's Tokyo Culture Creation Project.
Ikeda presented this work at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo from April - June 2009, as part of his solo exhibition +/– [the infinite between 0 and 1]. data.matrix [no1-10] is a a multi- screen installation featuring video sequences from Ikeda's audiovisual concert datamatics [ver.2.0], in which he uses pure data as a source for sound and visuals.
