Firrell's work illuminated the piazza elevation of the Royal Opera House, London for five nights in February 2007.
Martin Firrell places text in public spaces because he believes art’s place is at the centre of everyday life. Strikingly visual, his text works are both highly evocative and directly engaging, addressing universal and often politically or socially pertinent themes and ideas.
