Established in 1957 as an informational and cultural hub, the Center has since expanded to generate and present the artistic content reflective of cultural activity in Serbia and Europe. Numerous programs organized through the Cultural Center of Belgrade remain the most significant cultural manifestations of both the capital and entire country such as October Salon, Belgrade International Week of Architecture, Wolrd's Poetry Days, Days of Organ etc. Integral part of CCB is the cinema - DKC the oldest active cinema in Belgrade which was awarded in 2023 for Best Programming by Europa Cinema.
