Immaterial Film Club presents: But I Still Love You

A programme of short films and music videos exploring the digital worlds of love, sex and dating presented by Immaterial Film Club. Ranging from stories of online sex work and fantasy to the digital remnants of a break-up, this programme tries to make sense of how new forms of romance and intimacy have changed the way we relate to one another.

Line-up includes: Alpha Kings (2023), dir. Faye Tsakas & Enrique Pedráza Botero; in the end i saw something on my phone (2024), dir. Wonderful Cringe; All Through the Night (2008), dir. Biography

As more and more of our lives play out in the digital sphere, filmmakers and artists face the challenge of interrogating and illustrating the way digital technologies are increasingly embedded within our experiences. Immaterial Film Club responds to this challenge by showcasing films that approach the complexity of digital themes and aesthetics with new visual languages.
